Well I believe both male and female tigers are larger than female lions so the tigers would win in that case. A male lion vs a tiger would be more even.

I would say Tiger, even though Lions seems to be more powerful, I think Tigers can be more versatile and beat the Lions by speed. Its like Mike Tyson vs Bruce Lee in a sense.

Apparently not, since the male lion has basically been selectively bred to fight, while the Tiger is a hunter.

Tiger's may be more impressive physically, but they are not by nature 'fighters' - Male lions may be lazy, and have their harem do the hunting, but when it comes to solving territory disputes or scaring the F out of hyenas, no one F's with the Male lion - they are much more 'used' to fighting than Tigers are.

Grizzy Bear owns all other land animals though - no contest - ok, elephants and Rhino's aside!

supposedely some north koreans did some crazy experiments on wild beasts and footaged it, which was circulated among the p2p cliques. in that avi, the siberian bear outlasted the tiger : the bear shed more blood, but with his ability to take more punishment proved more imporant and determining factor in the clash of the two beasts.
