i could be wrong it looks photochopped to have him farther from the OB line. i guess when you see it in full motion, maybe he just looks closer to the line.
oh well, it's a big endzone and every other QB seems to find it a lot easier than Joey.
Nah, no photoshop that was a catch.
There was nothing in the tapes that indicated he did not have possession, and you do not need to ?tuck? the ball or make a ?football move? to demonstrate it either. If this was the case we wouldn't have the spectacular fingertip catches falling out of bounds. In Pollards case, once the ball hit his hands it did not budge ouside of his control. This, as seen in the pic and replays happend before he slid out of bounds.
At best, they had inconclusive evidence and should have left the damn call alone.
Don?t even get me started on that BS interference call in the 2nd quarter that took an interception away.
Fact is, calls like that happen all the time. Sometimes they go our way *anyone remember the Detroit VS Pit game, coin toss in overtime?* and sometimes they don?t. But whatever, whats done is done. It does no good arguing about it now.
Like has been mentioned before if the O had been playing for the other 57min it wouldn?t have even been a game. It shouldn?t have been a game. Tampa Bay was literally being dominated on the other side of the ball. If we even had a halfway competent offense it would have been a blowout. Their D wasn?t stopping us, it was Joey No Play, aka ?Happy Feet? Harrington and his Keystone Cop receiving crew. They had more than enough opportunities against the ?#1 defense in the league?, but as usual they beat themselves.
This is exactly what happened in our win VS Green Bay during week 1. The only difference being Tampas offense managed to make 2 good plays to net them touchdowns, while Green Bay preferred to self destruct completely.
I think the recievers dropsies and lazy route running can be fixed with a coaching change, the talent is there. Im not sure what, if anything we can do with Harrington.
