Lion USB Key Question

I know that creating the Lion USB recovery key (or whatever it is called), wipes the drive. I also recall reading that it will fit on a 1gb drive.

Can you add items to the drive (like a 16gb) after creating the Lion recovery bit, or will that mess things up?

I added Kexts and com.apple.Boot.plist from my Snow Leopard 10.6.6 to the Lion USB stick. Fixed the permissions and was good to go.

Like I mentioned in an earlier thread it uses 4,420,632,576 bytes (4.42 GB) for a USB Install stick, that took 10 minutes.

Boot screen used to have the Chameleon R5 GUI, not sure what I did in the Systems Preference settings, but currently looks like this. Mac OS X Base System hd(0,2) is the USB stick.
