linux wireless question

At my building we have a wireless network that requires the aegis client in order to connect. I was just wondering how I would go about setting up my linux box to connect (since aegis is not available for linux)? I am assuming that redhat or mandrake have some built in network setup that you can use kinda like OS 10 does on their systems. thanks

According to this page, an AEGIS client is available for Linux.

But unless the server is using some kind of proprietary extension to 802.1x, any WPA-enabled wireless driver should work; of course, that is not an authoritative view.

well i dont have my laptop yet so i cant actually try anything out yet. I know for a fact that the aegis client for linux that you can download is only an evaluation trial so thats really no good.
