Hey guys heres one I want to know if you have any opinions on....
I have this setup with work where basically my machine is set up to our development server like so:
My Computer (Windows) <-------- (internet) ----------> Server (Linux)
Now what I want to do is access the files on the server, through windows. I don't want to have to ftp the files back and forth (it gets tedious), and I don't really want to set up CVS (i've tried, the boss wont have it [dont lecture me]), but I kind of want CVS's ability to get files locally, modify them, then upload them.. kind of automagically. Samba is rather insecure and all the SSH/Samba stuff i've seen requires two linux boxes.. so do any of you guys have any ideas?
what would be idea is a system where you can mount a local drive/directory in 2000/xp and have it point to an SCP directory on the remote server. Any ideas, guys?
