Linux Webserver, mandrake 8.1, questions

How would I get rid of the gui and run a webserver? What I really want to do is make an old pentium 166 into a webserver. I dont know linux at all, but I would like to learn it. I dont knwo how I would use the OS without a gui. Also, I want to use apache to use the webserver. Do I just download it and install? Is this easy to do? Thanks for help.

Read the docs on apache. Its pretty simple to get a simple httpd up and running. If you havent installed yet, you probably dont have to select a gui to install, or look up on how to uninstall rpms and the names of the X rpms you installed (its probably in an rpm format).
