Hey Gang:

Looking to add some video capture to my network at home and would like to keep it on my server so i can still play with my desktop and stress that out playing games! :)

Would like to add a video capture card like the RADEON or whatever to my Red hat Linuz 7.1 box. Currently running 128 ram ( will prob upgrade to at least 256 next paycheck) and a celeron 333 ( moving up to a p3 500E by fall).

Sugggestions on which card was easiest to use under linux?

Please include comments regarding both installation as well as whatever software package you use to accomplish this. Looking for both good and bad stories.

Thanx for the help!

:eek::D:|:(

Anything with a brooktree chipset (they have been taken over, but can't remember the new name) should be supported iunder linux. Most card do use a brooktree so shouldn't be to hard.
