Linux Sound Question

I finally got slackware installed right, downloaded compiled and installed the 2.4.18 kernel, usb and sound are now working, but have a question with my SB Live... Is there any way to get bass/trebel controls for it?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

i look around and didnt find any controls for bass and treble. i think that option is only for windows.

I'm prety sure there is one, a while back when I had madrake installed I had controls over it, but slackware doesnt have it built in or something...and i dont know how to set it up.

You probably need the ALSA drivers, not the one currently in the kernel.

Another question related to sound...
I dont have the analog/digital sound cables going from my cdrom to sound card any more...didnt need them in windows(it played through the ide channel some how) And never had a prob with this in mandrake either..does anyone know how I can enable that?
