Linux Share- username "guest" is greyed out

Hi guys.
Just after some help.

We have a Win2k3 terminal server. We also have a linux web server.

We access shares off that server just by going \\www.xxxxxxxx.com.au\www-resources

Anyways, we have the username and password set in control userpasswords2.

Administrators can access the share fine, but normal users get prompted with the login box. Furthermore, the username is greyed out and Guest is shown.

And the username is not "administrator" to access the linux share

How do I get it so my other users can access the share? I have looked on the internet and all suggests that simple file sharing is turned on, however this is a linux box we are trying to access to its a little different.

Any help appreciated. Many thanks

EDIT: I worked it out, when I go control userpasswords2, when it asks for an admin password, at the bottom it says something like "click here to change stored passwords for this user" and from there I can add my details
