This is messed. I was working through my main server which runs on FC5. Had VMware console open, couple network drives, etc... then randomly I totally lost all connectivity. So I go downstairs to check the server, sure enough, its totally lost the network. This server controls everything exept for the kitchen sink so I can't afford this to go down. I reboot it and cross my fingers that it boots up and works.
It gets to where it checks the file systems and says /clean but it just sits there. Could not get online or anything as it does DNS though I switched my router's DNS to my ISP's for now. As I posted this it eventually came back up, but this really terrified me. Anyone ever see anything like this happen before? This is kind of vague of a problem but maybe I can be pointed in the right direction.
Oh and the server had been up for a couple months straight.
