Last night, I was trying to get my new Linux install to work. While I'm slowly learning the command line, I'm still entirely lost when it comes to anything GUI related, and my xorg.conf was shot.
However, a couple of very, very nice people on the #mepis channel of the ubuntu IRC servers managed to help me fix my xorg.conf file, and now my linux machine (complete with XFCE) works marvellously.
It's nice to know that somewhere in the world there are still decent people who are willing to lend a hand to someone less skilled than themselves.
Happy Holidays, y'all!
