linux online media problem

Hi, i have a netbook that runs linux, but i have a wierd problem with the online media... Theres a site that buffers online radio and i want to try listen to it on the netbook.. its a site from hong kong, but it doesnt work. the media doesnt load.... it says it does but nothign happens.. the wierd thing is that it works on other networks, jus not my home one, i tried at my friends, as well at the library at my university...they both worked. But the media works with other computers at home, like my laptop, desktop and my cuzins laptops and sisters and parents.. but i dont kno why it doesnt with the netbook.. any one got any ideas..

???? so it works fine on linux on your netbook but not on your home network?

it works on other computers just not your netbook running linux??

it works on other computers, jus not the netbook running linux on my home network.. something to do with router i guess.. cuz its not the ISP cuz i tried a friends house with same ISP ... any ideas...

edit: i have a d-link router.. I 99% sure its something to do wiht my router i think.. cuz i jus tried to plug the netbook(linux) into the modem directly to the internet and the internet radio streaming worked fine

any idea guys..? thanks
