Linux on a laptop?

Yes, it's been done before. I've seen Linux on laptops before. However, don't ask me how to do it since I'm totally clueless when it comes to linux. 😉

If there isn't a listing specifically for the notebook model you want to use, you can search for component-level compatibility. But beware the fact that components are often customized for use in notebooks by the OEM.

Jim

BTW, if you use a search engine combining the make and model of the notebook and the word "linux" you may very well find step-by-step instructions posted somewhere for your particular notebook.
