Several years ago I ran across a Linux O/S that was under development that was supposed to have the ability to run Windows O/S applications natively.

I can not remember the name. Can anyone recall the O/S I am thinking of.

Am not interested in things like Crossover and similar.

Thanks.

Yeah, that's it.

Thanks.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, looks like if I might live another 100 years, this O/S may be of some use to me or someone else !!!!

Yea, it's a proof-of-concept at best and will likely remain that way forever because it's impossible to develop something 100% bug-for-bug compatible with Windows. WINE has been working on a similar thing, although it's just a Win32 translation layer that runs on other OSes, for over 15 years now and they still have major gaps in functionality and bugs. ReactOS has been around less time and has taken on a much larger scope of work.
