Hey guys, i just finaly got Mandrake 7.2 running.
Well, I've noticed for the RC5 client, i'm getting pretty much the same result, 3.5MK/s.
So was it worth the upgrade?!?
Probaly Yes, and heres why:
1. Seems more stable, Even though Me was pretty gd for me, and way better than 98... of course i'm still going to have to reboot the same amount of times per week, maybe, unless i get wine working with everything!
2. On a fresh boot, the speeds seem equal, but after using the system a couple hours, Win Me, never got back to the 3.5, it could be as low as 2.7... Linux on the otherhand, seems to go back up to top speed... (usualy)
What have you guys noticed? Also,man, is there a unix program i can get to keep track of my stats? i don't have a proxie or anything....
