linux newbie question about ics on linux

i just got redhat 7.1 installed and i need some help getting my linux computer networked with my win98se computer...i'm currently using a dialup connection on the linux host machine. what packages do i need? what commands do i use? if this is too much to ask, could someone point me to a howto that is easy to understand for a newbie? thanks!
oh...i've already did an
ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
and i am able to ping my windows machine....

specifically check out ipmasq how to

some other software I used that worked really well was pmfirewall. From the tests I ran on grc.com, among other sites, it was more secure.

i'm a linux newbie, but a friend of mine is a linux freak. he has a linux router/proxy set up, using ipmasq. apparently, its working out well for him. so check out ipmasq
