Linux networking in a Windows peer to peer network

I have a laptop on which I have installed Mandrake 6.1. I would like to network it with the other systems in my home network. These use Win2K/ME in a peer to peer network. I also use Internet connection sharing which I would like to use in Linux. I would also like to use a printer which is local to a Win2K machine.

Thanks for your help

err... you have only stated what you wanna do, but didn't ask a question... Do you want step by step instructions on how to do this? Or just to get an idea of what you need?

If you want to share files between the Linux and Windows machine you have to install Samba in Mandrake... Other than that configure your IP, subnet mask, DNS etc... the same way you would do so with a windows machine...
