What is STFI?

Other people can only throw you hints for so long, if you're not willing to read and learn, then you're wasting your time with linux, IMO.
 
So there are definitely unresolvable dependency problems. You could try adding --nodeps to the command to ignore dependencies, but there's a very good chance that won't work. You'll just have to wait for a 9.2 package to become available, then.

It's possible to rebuild the package from the src.rpm to create a proper package, but that's beyond beginner level. So just learn some other stuff about your new system in the meantime, and give the Gaim folks some time.
 
rpm dependancy hell in action again?
I think he should try building it from source. But looks like he is not too inclined to read how to do things.
