Linux Mandrake video out of range...?!

Ok, so I was a moron and set the video too high in the graphical user interface... now I cant see anything so Im wondering how I can set it back to 800 600 or so..

Any advice would be great.

CTRL+ALT+F1 will likely get you to one of the command-line interfaces.

You may have to log in as "root" so that you can edit the /etc/X11/XF86Config file. I haven't used Mandrake in a while, so there's probably a nice utility (DrakXConf, perhaps) that will reconfigure that file for the graphics display.

ALT+F7 will get you back to the graphical screen. CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE will restart the graphical display (without rebooting) with the new configuration.
