Linux Mailserver

Can anyone reccomend a good website or how to to look at in regards to configuring a Linux mailserver. I am setting one up and having some difficulty. I was it to retrieve mail from a outside source. (the account i have set up at stargate) and then deliver it to the local users running outlook.
Thanks,

Sorry, I thought I said i was going to use Qmail...
Reason why we need it is that the BOD wants a copy of all email going in or out.
Thanks.

I'd also like some info on setting up my own POP/IMAP/SMTP on RH7.3. I'd be using my own domain, but have the DNS done elsewhere.

Any links or info would be appreciated. I'd be interested in ease of setup and maintanence, yet still secure. My windows boxes would be checking the mail.

TIA

No I wasn't born a linux pro but I learned something that you need to learn. The HOWTO's are a resource you should consult BEFORE asking for help. They often walk you step by step through setup. As far as email goes I uninstalled sendmail and used qmail.

Jezz..I don't see the problem... if someone tells you to read something, and is KIND ENOUGH TO TAKE THE TIME TO PROVIDE the LINK for you to click on!

Then they are NOT BEING un-helpfull.

Get a grip...try reading a little bit to get you going and then come back with some specific questions.

Its guys like you that unfairly perpeutate the "sterotype" of Linux users being cocky smartasses...

IF YOU would have followed the link he provided you would find such EXCELLENT documents such as:

The Linux Electronic Mail Administrator HOWTO

FWIW, I've never used QMAIL, but you might check out Postfix if want. It's what I use on my Debian system. It's cool.
