Just installed Linux Mandrake 7.2 on a Toshiba Tecra 8100 laptop. All went well except for the XFree86 set up stage which didn't recognise my s3 Savage GFX card. So I go to Toshiba's web site and discover they have a custom driver for the linux so I download and attempt to install. At the shell I type ./install.sh to install the driver as instructed in the README life and get the error: " Please install XFree86 before installing these drivers". However, I already have XFree86 installed as I can see it in /usr/RX11 and /etc/R11. All the bits are there. Maybe I have something missing from my path environment variable.

But of a Linux beginner so was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction and help me out. Many thanks in advance.
