Can anyone help me get my Linksys card working in my Linux box?.
I'm new to Linux and need some help.

It's Corel Linux and all the Linux hardware conpatability sites that I've been to say it's supported. I installed the Linux tulip drivers that came with the card, it's pluged into my DSL router and all the IP,Subnet mask,Default gatewayand DNS settings are set but I cant get it to work. I can't ping or get Netscape to work.

Can anyone tell what to do

Thank for all your help

Did you install the tulip driver into the kernel or as a module? If as a module did you add it to the module.conf file or whatever? Did you start the module?

Did you install the tulip driver into the kernel or as a module? If as a module did you add it to the module.conf file or whatever? Did you start the module?

I opened the file manager - went to floppy - clicked the linux folder on floppy - tulip.zip clicked it and a window opened and closed so fast that I could not see what it was or where it went.

Since I don't know how to get to the kernel I don't think I installed it there and how do you install it as a module.conf file and how would you start it?

Help:confused:

I do this command line, so I have NO CLUE what "the" file manager would have done with it. http://www.linksys.com/support/support.asp?spid=25 <<-- should be a good place to start. I have not read it in a while and I do not use linux so I couldnt give you specifics, but if you start RTFMing and asking smaller questions I might be able to help. :)
