Linux Kyro Drivers Question!

Are there any leaked or released kyro drivers? for the kyro 2, even 3rd party?

Thanks

I heard they were finished, but deciding whether to release them open source or not

I haven't seen or heard of any Linux drivers for the Kyro, beta or otherwise. Doesn't mean they don't exist though. 😉 You might want to ask this question over in the video forum, maybe someone over there knows for sure.

Well, the only info I could find was an article published by The Register in September, 2001. Nothing else has been released since then. One would think that if they had
actual Linux Kyro drivers, they would have released them sometime within the past five months.

The drivers are in Beta. They are supposed to be released some time this month. The selling of ST's graphics department will not effect the drivers as PowerVR makes them, and they have little to do with ST directly.

Thanks, Yeah, I have seen that article at the register. They said the public SDK is out, are there any even third party drivers out?

Can I use linux with default Graphics Drivers? (No Acceleration)

you might be able to use something like generic vga, or maybe a driver for another graphic chip they made or soemthin, actually this thread would be best suited for the OS forum i think, more linux users go there than GH.

either way good luck
