LINUX: iso with 2.4 kernel???

Is there an iso out there with the 2.4 kernel? I'm a semi-newbie and my repeated attempts at compiling the 2.4 kernel have failed.
I'm thinking of killing my Caldera eDesktop2.4 and moving to mandrake7.2, which has the 2.2.17 kernel. All this kernel talk is because I want to be able to EASILY connect my Rio and digital camera(USB) to linux and forever banish W2K.

Oh yeah, I also want APM support (linux laptop, wohoo!).
