I haven't had the chance to try Mandrake out except for a VERY old version which was somewhere around when RedHat 5 or 6 was out ... So I suppose I'll have to give it a shot again to see what I've been missing out on (although with a 56k modem I dont think I'll be downloading it anytime soon) :)

Ouch. I'm sorry to hear that! If you don't feel you have the time to download it, you can always purchase it from a computer store. And you definately should check it out, you'll find that lots has improved. :)

The only down side to linux is that there aren't as many games, but that area is improving too.
