Here is the scoop- and since it is not my system the info may be limited.

Gentleman did not follow instructions when loading Linux(specifically the instructions not to install LILO on the boot drive(an NT drive)) now the same gentleman cannot get to the production installation of NT that he previously had on the system (to like do work!). Of course there is no NT ED or Rescue disk made prior to doing the install. I would prefer to not have to reload the system for him. Can I "reinstall" NT to get the NT LDR back or can I FDISK /MBR and then the NTLDR will pick up. What to rememeber- He did not ruin the partition that the NT is on(as far as I can tell from home)

Any help would be appreciated

Understand that FDISK /MBR will remove Lilo but will the NTLDR then boot from that drive? I think that NT writes to the MBR when it installs
