Linux home LAN

I am trying to network my XP pc and my Linux one. I got to the point were I can share docs on the Linux box, and can see it on the XP box, but can't see the XP on the Linux.


I get Error - Konqueror.

The lisa daemon does not appear to be running.

In order to use the LAN Browser the lisa daemon must be
installed and activated by the system administrator


I looked to install that but could not find it.

P.S. It is XP Pro, Linux Mandrake 9.1 KDE 3.1
 
No need for duplicate threads either 😉

I posted a helpful hint in the other thread too over in OS because this is a software issue and not a network issue.
