I changed 5 of mine over to this so far, but you are right a tripped breaker or power outage would be a serious problem. I have not had any outages as yet........
several Linux distros incorperate LTSP that will let you boot diskless rigs across a network, they will run FAH or whatever programs you want them to from a shared folder on server on the network.
The new nullOverclocknix has this built in, just released a couple days ago.
A month or so I tried to set up LTSP using Red Hat, I could never get my test rigs to boot from the server so I gave up after 3 days of trying. this method does work and is used by lots of ppl, but being a NIX idiot I just could not get the config right.
