Linux for a Windows user

Does some one know a websight with a linux walk through for a windows user? All of it from install to shutdown.

The Linux Documentation Project is probably your safest place to start. They have a pretty good howto that covers what you're looking for. Linux Installation Howto.

You might, also want to check on the home page for whatever linux distrobution that you're interested in because there is usually some distro specific documentation that is available. And if you decide to go with debian then here is "The Very Verbose Debian 3.0 Walkthrough" to get you started.
