LINUX Firewall( IPCop ) How to Reduce MTU ?

I'm running a LINUX based Firewall. IPCop v1.4.2 with DansGaurdian Content filtering. I'm having probs with some sites loading. I've fixed this prob before with my Linksys Router by reducing the MTU to 1472. Where is the setting in LINUX hidden to set the MTU on eth1 ? There is no pick for it in IPCop, either in the WebGUI or Shell Setup. BTW, PPPoE is being handled by my Netopia Modem/Router. The LINUX Box has a Static WAN IP.
