linux dvd fileinfo

I'm writing a script to rip a dvd using 'mencoder' and would like to create a .mpg for each chapter. I was wondering if there are any command line tools to get dvd title/chapter info. I tried dvd+rw-mediainfo, but this didn't have the need info.
