For Windows coming to Linux, I would say Xubuntu/Lubuntu, Mint w/ 17, Zorin OS, and Solydx. Zorin OS will provide you the closest GUI feel IMHO, but I don't know if they have 14.04 release yet.
But the thing u need to understand is... This is not Windows. So, don't expect a distribution to behave like Windows, no matter what desktop environment you are using. If you come into this expecting things to behave and function like a NT box you will quickly crash and burn.
