Linux Deer Hunter type game?

Recently a friend of mine was talked into ditching XP for Unbuntu on his older box. He had Trophy Hunter 2003 on XP and it ran fine.

The person who talked him (his wife) into the linux OS tried to get Wine to work, but I guess this person didn't finish the job because it errors out.

Does anyone know of a hunter simulation type game for Linux?

That's pretty much all my friend wants to do with his computer. I've been looking for some open source types but no luck. He's willing to pay as well though.

Cedega is a commercial, gaming-oriented version of wine that may install more smoothly than regular wine. Lots of folks also dual boot, keeping windows around for the gaming and doing everything else in *nix.
