There are only two things that keep me in Windows. The first is gaming, and the second is the fact that I can't use WiFi because my card won't work with Linux. Now, I know that the gaming situation won't get better anytime soon, so right now I just want to be able to use the Internet.
I can't use a long cable right now. I might be able to in a month since I'll be moving, but I'd rather have a good Wireless card now, in case if a cable isn't an option (like now.).
Thanks in advance. :)

I've not had any luck with USB based ones, but the Intel and Atheros based cards that are miniPCI seem to work out of box without any problems.

I have 2 Edimax cards and they've worked flawlessly under OpenBSD. RaLink based. Fun stuff.
