Linux compatible parts

I'm looking for a modem and a NIC that are Linux compatible (specifically for RedHat 9.0, but would be great if it works for linux in general), anyone has a suggestion? I'm looking for under 30 bux for each of the items. Thanks in advance

I don't know about modems, but any modern NIC should operate fine under Linux. If you're worried stick with the big names in NICS like Intel, 3com, D-Link, etc. I have a pair of D-Link NICs coming in soon and I'll be running exclusively under linux🙂.

Cool, can you keep me updated as to how it turns out?

BTW, what brand of linux are you running?
