Linux Boot Issue

I recently installed ubuntu onto my system
I have windows xp pro running on my raptor drive and I installed ubuntu on a seperate drive, and when i restart my computer it doesn't give me the dual boot option...

Another problem is that when I am in windows my harddrive doesn't even show up

update:
I can boot to linux whenever i select that HD as primary boot HD, but I still can't see the HD in windows
and I have it partitioned so that linux takes up only like 10 gigs so there should be at least 100 and something gigs open
