I've got a motherboard that consistently reports a bad byte using MemTest86 (but it's definitely NOT the RAM, because I've tried 3 known good sticks and they all report exactly the same error).
I would like to use the "BADRAM" linux kernel option, but I have been unable to find documentation on it anywhere. The author's web page describes the theory behind it, but does not detail how to use it! Additionally, I was under the impression that the patch had been integrated into the Linux kernel itself... Am I mistaken about that?
If anyone knows, please give me a hint
