I am running Raid 0 on my KT7 MB... I am wondering if I can dual boot with linux and if it would support the highpoint raid device? IF not is it possible to load Linux on IDE 1 and ignore the highpoint controler?

Short answer: No.

Longer answer: No version of Linux will yet see the array on RAID-0, but if you slap on another HD. Linux should be able to install there and go on its happy way.

FWIW: Mandrake 7.2 can see drives hung on the HPT370 right out of the box, but the whole RAID support is a combination hardware/software solution and there's not Linux drivers out there that can take advantage of it.

Dunno if Highpoint is working on any either.
