Linux and the Ti4600

How do the Linux Nvidia drivers work in comparison with the WinXP ones (this is for a Leadtek ti4600). I know that a lot of GPU architecture is built for directx and the use of DX shaders, etc. If anyone could give me an example of how there performance is with that card (or any ti4600, for that matter), I would be very greatful. Something like any well known 3d game's performance (an average of your FPS while playing or and informed guess will do just fine). Thanks again.
