I would likely be running some version of Linux (SOT, Peanut, or Collegelinux) exclusively if it wasn't for the fact that last time I attempted it - this past June - I ran into problems with sites that had Macromedia Shockwave content.

Has there been any progress in a Linux port for Shockwave content since I last tried this? I have done research and haven't seen anything indicating there has been any change. If I have overlooked something and could be pointed in the right direction for a resolution, that would be most excellent.:D

Sorry no shockwave player. Flash works fine, as does java, but no shockwave. At least as far as I know and I am pretty sure about this.

www.codeweavers.com has a product called crossover plugins and that will allow you to run shockwave under linux. I have been using it and crossover office which also allows you to run many apps as well as MS Office and Quicken under linux. The products are based upon WINE. Great products.
