Are you thinking about applying? They could use a guy like you. It would get you outta Timmins and while as scary as that sounds it might be just as exciting.

That kind of thing does sound fun honestly and I kind of gave it some thought. But yeah that's literally at the other end of Canada, and the housing prices are insane over there not to mention big cities are just not my thing. Basically you get less property for more money, so quite a downgrade. I just bought 40 acres in this area for cheap. Would like to visit BC area some day though but would not want to live there. Timmins is turning into trash so I do want to leave the city eventually which is why I bought my 40 acre plot in the bush but I still like this general area of Ontario and it's where my family is so would not want to go that far.

He's the guy who used to work for NCIX Canada and left Dec. 2012, that declared bankruptcy 5 years later. .

I actually remember shopping at NCIX and some products would have a video with a basic review or unboxing and it was him doing it. Then he eventually started his own Youtube channel and grew from there. I think he was doing both NCIX and his own channel for a while, but I don't remember for sure.

I still miss NCIX though, it was probably the biggest computer retailer we had here. Tigerdirect was good too. When we lost both of those we basically lost a lot of buying power for computer parts. There's smaller retailers like Memory Express but they just don't have the selection the others had and stuff is out of stock half the time with no way to back order. Even pre pandemic stock was lacking.
