[Linus Tech Tips] 10 Years of AMD Flagship GPUs

The benchmark analysis is pretty light, but I assume that they are doing this to prepare for the upcoming release of Vega. Definitely an interesting history though.

3870, 4870, 5870, 6970, 7970, 290X, 390X, Fury X, 480

Nice find. I like tests comparing old graphics cards.
I didn't expect the HD 4870 to get 20 FPS on the very high settings in Metro Last light. I would have liked to see low and medium settings included for the HD 3870 and 4870 though so we'd get playable results.

Nice. I just upgraded my G4560 rig to an XFX RS RX 470 4GB card, and scored 61.1 FPS in Heaven Extreme.

Looking forward to playing some games on it, finally.

Well keep in mind that the 4870 only supports DX 10.1 features, so even if it's running on "very high" it's not actually running the same load as the DX11 cards. No tessellation especially.
