i am a newb when it comes to linux, but i installed linspire on my laptop and i can't seem to get my "NETGEAR WG511 WIRELESS PCMCIA CARD" to work. it is being detected as unknown in the system but i can't find drivers for it any where. can someone please help.

I'm not familiar with Linspire, but don't they have a support forum?

Chech the hardware compatible list for Linspire, and read up on "ifconfig" (Linspire might have a GUI for networking).

PS. This thread belong to Networking or OS.

Haven't looked at Linspire in a while, but I thought there was shady to no support for wireless in 4.5.

I think the new 5-O, which should be comming out any moment now is supposed to add wireless support.
