On second thought, I find it incredibly sad they're destroying a classic song for such a . . . low purpose

It sure was catered to the MS haters...XP is actually pretty good (only one glaring bug that I can think of), and viruses are for morons. Since Windows has such a huge share of the market, it stands to reason that it's the OS most morons run, so...

I really don't feal like typing out a long reply to this (I have a fealing this thread will degenerate into a flame war without my help) but WinXP's security model is simply atrocious, and saying that viruses "Are for morons" is simply naieve. Remember when it was really hard to get a virus? What if, 6 years ago, I told you that you could get a virus simply by connecting to the internet? The default serives that WinXP run makes getting a virus stupidly easy these days, and Microsoft definatly deserves some of the blame here.

EDIT : Probably the first of many edits. I know I'm not the only one on this board who put an unpatched computer onto the internet, and in the 5 minutes it took for me to get to windowsupdate and get patched I was infected, and infected in such a way that the microsoft patch did not work. What is joe average going to do in this sistuation, even if he's following the good advice and patching his system right away, when the patches mysteriously fail? Odds are he's going to go "oh well" and move on, because on the surface everything still appears to be working fine. The fact this sisutation is common (look in the software forums . . ) is just scary.

Can anyone tell me what the song was to the tune of? No audio here.

Judging by the lyrics its the Doors "Light My Fire"?

BTW Linspire is an OK Linux distro but, in my experience, not the best.
