I have a Diamond SupraMax 56k, I was wondering if it could also be used as a linmodem. I have checked linmodems.org but haven't seen that much info on the diamonds'.
Does box say if it supports linux? I am thinking it is a windmodem, which generally wont work under linux (there is a winmodem project, no idea how good it is now)
If it's based on the rockwell/conexant hsf chipset you can go to www.olitec.com (it's in french) and get their linux driver. It works fine for me. I'm running mandrake 7.1.
