greetings all. i have my main box and my spare pc (both XP Pro.) joined by the two linksys wireless lan adapters. it took two days of troubleshooting to get them to work and then the only way was to use netbeui. so icould share files, network print, etc.. and the connection was/is quite fast, however, i have no internet connection sharing due to using netbeui. last night i was fidddling away with them again and i can ping the ip of the spare pc from the main pc but not vice versa. if i can get the ping both ways i should get ics no prob. connectivity is still fine between them except that pinging the spare pc is only a oneway street. any ideas at all would be appreciated. they are both brand new with the most current drivers.

let me get this straight - you are using the usb wireless adapters in a ah-hoc mode with no access point? how are you connected to the internet?

with XP....make sure you installed the hardware first, then direct to the cd for drivers...do not install the config util because that conflicts with XP's built in wireless auto configuration. Also...try setting static IP address...and get a wireless router or sumthing....
