Just purchased a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router and am doing some testing. When I tried the speed test at http://myspeed.visualware.com/voip/ I get about 3.5 Mbps when I am hard wired. I get only about 1.5 Mbps when I try wireless. I am sitting pretty close to the access point, and the laptop has a 802.11g card. When I check the status of the connection in the System Tray it does say it is at 54 Mbps for Speed.
Any ideas?
