Should I throw it in the trash? I know there is no way to unbrick it even though I installed DD-WRT firmware just fine somehow it becomes brick after i made some changes on setting to bridge with dlink router.
I can't say if it is corrupted because I noticed on my laptop is able to wireless to wrt54g but could not get into 192.168.1.1 at all and can't surf on the internet so I figured it was brick already.

so you tried to bridge it with another router and it bricked?

if thats the case, try defaulting it, or re-upping DD-WRT to it. i did this once with a buffalo router on my first try because i didnt set it up right and one of those (i forget which) fixed it.

I did that many times before it is hard thing to do. I wish somebody locally to me who know how to unbrick it.

no

try the button used for a factory default and see if it defaults DD WRT

the dd-wrt wiki isnt working for me :/

i made some changes on setting to bridge with dlink router.

What is the IP of the DLink router? If it is also 192.168.1.1 then you wont be able to reach the Linsys one.

You should connect to the Linksys rounter with a cat5 cable and change your settings that way. It is recommened that you dont use wireless connections to configure DD-WRT.

I would remove the DLink router from the network and then try correcting the Linksys....

dlink uses 192.168.0.1 and linksys uses same 192.168.1.1

I did not use wireless connections to configure DD-WRT only use wired connections when it happened.

I tried to connect the Linksys from my laptop and type ping and got responses then typed 192.168.1.1 and nothing happened. 🙁
