Linksys WRT54G + SMC EtherEZ 3605T Hub

It has an uplink port so I believe that a normal cat 5 cable from a port on your router to the uplink will work. It may require a crossover cable but I don't believe so.

hey! i have a need for an actual hub, not a network switch - the difference being that a switch does not take an incoming signal, and then send it out to all available ports. a switch "intelligently" routes traffic. on a hub, all computers receive copies of all other computers' traffic that is connected to the same hub.

i see this one for cheap and its called a hub... but is it a hub or a switch ? thanks
