Linksys WRT1900AC issue with 50mbps AT&T internet

So I just had the 50 mbps down 12 mbps up AT&T internet installed with their new modem. I previously had 24 mbps down, 5 mbps up. So, the only devices I had/have hooked up to the AT&T modem are the Linksys WRT1900AC and an AT&T microcell, I have two PC's directly connected to the WRT1900AC and all wireless devices through the 2.4 and 5 Ghz wifi connections to the WRT1900AC.

Before the new AT&T modem my download was 23.47 mbps through the WRT1900AC, which was only slightly lower than going directly through the modem, upload was 4.87 mbps, only slightly less than going directly through the AT&T modem.

Now with the new AT&T modem and through the Linksys WRT1900AC I'm still getting only 23.45 mbps down but I'm getting 13.29 mbps up. If I unplug the CAT6 from the PC and plug it directly into the AT&T modem I get 55.61 mbps down and 13.33 mbps up.

I don't understand why my Linksys WRT1900AC won't do the faster download speed. I tried rebooting the Linksys, going into the settings of the Linksys, but I don't see anything that is set that would limit the speed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have never done a router reset, now would be a good time.
When you mean a router reset, are you meaning reset to factory defaults?

I think I may have found a solution on the interweb, but I have to wait until I get home to find out. It looks like if I go into Media Prioritization settings, go into settings, and change the Downstream Bandwidth to 55296, it may solve my issue.

When I originally set up this router when new, I just let it auto configure itself and I didn't change anything other than the default password and wifi passwords.

Did you ever setup any kind of QoS on the router? Maybe an artificial limitation you've setup is hindering the traffic?
Ohhh you smart young man. I did set up a QoS with my PC having the highest priority. I was testing with my wife's PC since it was closer to the linksys. I will check this when I get home as well.

1. Did you try the Network without the Microcell.

2. Your ATT Modem is a Modem or Modem/Router?
May be you have double NAT.

1. I didn't try the network without the Microcell since it is plugged into the AT&T modem, but I can give that a try.

2. It is a Modem/Router, so yes, every device connects through my Linksys (wired and wifi), except for the microcell, and the linksys router is connected to the AT&T modem/router.

My initial thinking on doing this is to have a dedicated network with a firewall connecting all of my devices, including a NAS, and then connecting this router to the ISP modem/router. I just didn't like AT&T having access to my network if I just used their modem/router. I've had issues before and called AT&T's tech support, and it was always, "Sure, I'll just remote into your Modem and I'll have it fixed shortly." I want one more physical layer in which they don't have remote access.
